APS Psychologists: Good thinking

Consulting an APS Psychologist ensures you receive the highest standard of quality, expert psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment and care.  Among others, therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioural, positive psychology and solution focussed therapies.

Our psychologists are registered as approved treatment providers with Comcare and Workcover and with an appropriate mental health care plan (referral) from their doctor, patients can receive a fee rebate from Medicare.

Ask your general practitioner about eligibility for a Mental Health Care Plan allowing rebates from Medicare.  However, a referral from a medical practitioner is not a requirement for our services.

NOTE: With your permission and informed consent, in certain circumstances our psychologists may be required to communicate with your general practitioner or other health professionals involved in your care.
